What People Think About Us
Frankie and Cleo are lucky to have a lot of caring people in their lives. Their testimonials provide honest insights about their personalities and needs.
“Frankie ran up to us, a group of rescuer girlfriends, as we finished our lunch out one day. His infectious charm and loving confidence made it impossible for his current owner to walk on and leave him on the street. And boy am I glad she adopted him as I think I might have ended up with a 4th cat if not! He was only a mere few months old (when he found us!) but his charm, affections and brilliant intelligence remain to this day! I love Frankie to the ends of the earth and know that whoever becomes his new family will be very blessed indeed”
Frankie is one of the smartest cats you'll ever meet! He can open drawers, door handles, and can probably even do Algebra if you allow him! But that's what Bahraini Dilmun's are known for, their high levels of intelligence, and Frankie is an excellent example of this unique breed indigenous to Bahrain. He's a lovely boy who will make any house feel like a home filled with laughter, love and a whole lot of character! Cleo is made from honey from nose to tail; every part of this sensitive cat is so sweet! She's a joy to have around and wants nothing but the companionship of her human. She's a loyal cat with a very precious personality, kind and affectionate and a true blessing to any home. Her striking eyes and tiny face make her expressions really unique and funny to watch!
I was fortunate to pet sit Frankie and Cleo on numerous occasions in the past. They are both wonderful, friendly cats with fun loving personalities! They love to play and are always busy enjoying life to the fullest. They let me stroke them from the get go and were very trusting of me, despite not knowing me too well. They are both very soft natured and sensitive cats who enjoy having human company at all times. Frankie is very confident and smart, and Cleo knows she is such a Queen! What I really enjoyed about spending time with them was how they always let me be near them when I wanted to give them belly rubs! I have no doubt that whoever adopts them will most certainly have hit the jackpot!
When my granddaughter came to Catalonia a couple of years ago, she asked me if I could take care of the cats temporarily while they looked for a place to live and got settled. The first few days, Frankie and Cleo were scared because everything was very new to them, but they got closer soon. They are good looking cats, very clean, and have healthy routines. In the morning, they had breakfast and went to nap under the sun. Everyday, they played and cleaned each other for a long time. It was beautiful to see. What was very clear to me is that they are cats that are very close and must live together. Cleo was always looking for me asking to be by my side. Franky is more independent and came when he felt like it. The only thing I had to keep in mind with Franky was that there couldn't be any clothes within reach due to the Pica problem. I am 91 years old and because of my age I do not consider having animals at home but if I were younger, I would have liked to adopt them.
Frankie and Cleo are just meant for each other. They have the sweetest bond you’ll ever see and they complement each other very nicely. Frankie would jump on my lap whenever I visited, Cleo was happy to let him take the lead and wait her turn. I was very sad to hear about Frankie’s health issues but I am certain that he will blossom in a peaceful environment. Both Frankie and Cleo are very adaptable cats and together they will be a wonderful addition to the family who are lucky enough to adopt them.
Frankie and Cleo need and complement each other. They are cats that at many times are so discreet that you hardly notice their presence and you have to look for them. At other times, they are playful and very funny. Cleo is very affectionate and when she sits on the sofa it doesn't take long before she comes to find you. Franky, with his more independent character, does not take long to follow her. They are the friendliest cats we have ever met and we hope that the family that adopts them appreciate them as much as we have.
